We love the hand-formed crane rising up on this teal blue Ephraim Faience piece. Sue has created a reedy habitat with grasses and moon plants echoing the arch of the crane’s neck, and extended the color from the base to the clear “sky”. Sue’s many years of kayaking and bird-watching around the San Francisco Bay has given her lampshade landscapes a natural feel, the placement of elements feels unstrained.
