Description

This lovely antique table lamp is a gourd shaped oxidized brass vessel beautifully decorated with gourds and leaves. It is paired with Sue Johnson’s ”Trailing Vine” curved mica lampshade. The light mineral-marked mica is lined with gold shadow panels and decorated with hand-cut leaves and vines. Gourd-shaped vessels have a long history in the decorative arts and are associated with fertility.
